Wolcott/Sodus: Age 71, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on April 19, 2008 at the Wayne County Nursing Home in Lyons, NY. She is predeceased by her mother Mildred (Riesdorph) Sherman and her father William Darling. She is survived by sisters Patricia Smith of Dansville and Carol Urbancic of Rochester, cousins Susan Berardi of Webster and James Riesdorph of Olean and 7 half-brothers and sisters, Richard (Diane) Darling of Cheyenne, WY, Rebecca (Jose) Cruz of Sodus, Virginia (Leo) Gilbert of Sodus, Arthur (Sue) Darling of Newark, Alberta (John) Beach of Red Creek, Kellene Darling and William Darling both of Sodus. Theresa was born on June 26, 1936 in Marion NY and lived in the area her entire life. She graduated in 1956 from Marion High School. She was an avid bowler and loved to bake. She retired from Food Preparation at the former Newark State School. Interment and memorial services at the Huron Evergreen Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Wayne County Nursing Home, 1529 Nye Rd., Lyons, NY 14589 Arrangements: Colvin-Robertson-Norton Funeral Home.
