Savannah: Suddenly on March 13th, age 63, at home in the loving arms of his wife, best friend and soul mate Colette (nee Constanza). Michael went to his eternal life, to be with our Holy Savior, Lord Jesus Christ. Besides his wife Colette, Michael is survived by daughter Michelle (Fran) Zaccagnini, their children Alexander, Alia and Aidan; son Stephen (Robin) Amico; sister Francine (Warren) Kleiman; loving nieces Sara, Laura and Anna; sister Paula (Bob) Karnisky; nephews Jon (Christine), Keith (Elizabeth) and Kevin (Karen); mother-in-law Dyane Constanza; brother-in-law Peter (Lynda) Constanza; sister-in-law Roxanne (Rick) Granzow; aunts Rose Costa and Evelyn Calabria; several cousins, close friends and his three 4-legged companions Colby, Casey and Shorty. He was predeceased by his parents Paul and Phyllis Amico and several aunts and uncles. Mike was an avid fly fisherman, and was looking forward to opening day of trout season on April 1st. He was also a magician, and leaves many magician friends. He will be remembered in the community for his magic shows during Community Day, and the Potato Festival. Mike was the “Consummate Performer.” An accomplished Chinese Cook, he recently gave a Chinese Cooking Class to the community and the Savannah Girl Scouts. He will be sadly missed by all who had the honor and pleasure of knowing him. Family and friends are invited to call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Colvin-Norton Funeral Home, 13081 West Church Street, Savannah. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, 10 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Grand Avenue, Savannah. Contributions may be directed to St. Patrick’s Church in Michael’s memory.
