Sodus: Passed away on Wednesday, August 26th, following a courageous 12 year battle with cancer. Barbara is survived by her husband of 32 years, Thomas Schinsing; her son Richard (Dennice); grandchildren Julia and Ricky; great-grandson Damaryan; brothers Keith (Cheryl) and Patrick; sisters Marjorie and Kathy; father Richard VandeWater (Marion House); and several nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her mother Beatrice; and by her mother and father-in-law Dorothea and John Schinsing.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, September 2nd from 2-4 pm. At the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street, Sodus. Her funeral will be held immediately following. Private graveside committal will be at the Sodus Rural Cemetery.
