Obituary of Lorraine Granatiero

Savannah: Age 87, lifetime resident of Savannah, passed away at the DeMay Living Center in Newark on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
Born October 23, 1927, she was the youngest of three daughters to Harold and Marguerite Reed.
Lorraine retired from General Electric in Auburn and for the past 24 years was a Foster Grandmother in the Wayne County Head Start Program in Wolcott and Clyde. She was a member of the Savannah Congregational Church.
Lorraine is survived by sons Roger (Denice) of Fair Haven, and Rodney (Michelle) of Savannah; grandchildren Kaleb and Kristina of Savannah; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday September 26, from noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 13081 West Church Street in Savannah. Lorraine’s funeral service will be held immediately following visitation. Interment will be at the Crusoe Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Lorraine’s memory to the Clyde Head Start Program, 214 East DeZeng Street, Clyde, NY 14433. Lorraine truly enjoyed all of the foster grandchildren and staff that she had met over her years of service.
