Red Creek, NY Reed, Elaine Elaine Reed, 62, of Red Creek passed away on May 4, 2016. She was born on August 29, 1953 to Roger and Naomi (Kilmer) Hendrick in Gouvernor and was a graduate of Hugh C. Williams High School in Canton. She married Paul Reed on June 18, 1977 in Wolcott. She was a receptionist at Red Creek Community Center. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul; children, Steven of Imperial Beach, California, Christina (William) Pople of Buffalo, Andrea (Wayne) Williamson of Wolcott, Samuel of Red Creek; step mother Arlene Hendrick; mother and father-in-law, Patricia and William Reed; grandchildren Keerston and Taylor Williamson; sisters, Stephanie Williams of Canandaigua, Christine Hendrick of Gouverner, Connie (Marvin) Matthews of Harrisville; brothers, David of Gouverner and Rodney of Sodus. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 7th at 1pm at the Faith United Methodist Church on Oswego St. in Wolcott. Burial will follow at the Huron Evergreen Cemetery. A reception will be held following the committal service at the church. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the “Holding on to Hope Cancer Community Center”, 5996 Williams St., Wolcott, NY 14590.
