George, Tom, 85 of Ontario, passed away June 15, 2016. He was born March 5, 1931 in Jeffersonville, Georgia. Tom is predeceased by his parents, Levi and Bertha George; three brothers; and two sisters.
Tom is survived by his wife, Mozelle of Ontario, New York; daughter Julie of Rochester, New York ; four sons Elice, John, Archie and Dennis, all of Rochester, New York; seventeen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; family; friends and church members.
He enjoyed all sports; especially football (Buffalo Bills), baseball (Mets) and fishing. Tom also enjoyed spending time laughing with family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Norton Funeral Home, 45 W. Main Street, in Sodus. A burial service will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Sodus Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall Building Funds, Newark, New York 14513.
