Obituary of Bob Vail

Age 76 of Sodus Point, NY/Lake Worth, FL passed away on August 6th, 2020 in Jacksonville, FL.  Robert (Bob) was born in Niagara Falls, NY, grew up in Sodus Point, NY where he graduated from Sodus Central School in 1961. He worked at the Genese Malt House in Sodus Point, was a dedicated lifetime member of the Sodus Point Fire Dept and very proud to be part of them. He moved to Lake Worth, FL in 1982 and worked for the Regency which he retired from in 2013. Robert loved the NY Yankees and living on the water, telling stories of Sodus Point and his adventures with family and friends, his pride of them showed in his smile.

Robert is survived by his two daughters, Belinda Vail York and April Vail (John) Norris; 2 grandchildren, Corey York and Quinn Norris. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Vail; mother, Lulu Vail and brother, William Vail.

There is no memorial service planned at this time, donations in his memory are welcomed to the Sodus Point Fire Dept., P.O. Box 139, Sodus Point, NY 14555.

His daughters would like to extend their gratitude to special friends, Donnie and Diane Cameron, His Kenlee Gardens devoted friends, Brookdale Asst. Living in Jacksonville, FL, and several other friends and family.
