Lynne was such a nice person. Both Don and Lynne were like a second family to me. I spent many days with them in my younger years as Elise and I were very close friends and Rich was like a little brother to me. I have many good and fond memories of my times with the family. I am so glad that I was able to speak to Lynne just a few days before she passed. Her voice was strong and we laughed like we usually did about silly things. We spoke about Don, Elise and Rich as we often did over the years.
I love the pictures that Elizabeth included of Lynne and the family here on her obituary.
She was always proud of her family and she loved them dearly. She loved Brandon and his family and Elizabeth and her family very much.
She was so fond of her nephews and nieces as she was close to them. She was always smiling, had a great laugh and was so kind hearted to all that she met. She may have been a very petite person, but she had a heart so big that people couldn't help but like her due to the kindness and hospitality that she showed to everyone.
While I know that Lynne is healed and happy with our Lord in heaven, she will be missed by all here. I am sorry to the family for your loss of such a fine and wonderful lady. May you take comfort in the memories that you have of her and knowing that you were each so special to her.

I have many happy memories of spending time in Savanah throughout my life. It was my second home as I was growing up. My children and my husband also visited with me as life moved on. As Lynne and I grew older we talked on the phone almost daily until it wasn’t possible because of her health issues. I feel a great sadness in my heart but she is at peace.

I know that Lynne was cared for deeply by all her family. At her son's funeral I had the pleasure to speak with her and she was so saddened by so much loss of her husband, daughter and her son. It was understandable when she said "all her family were gone". It wasn't that she didn't love those around her, it was just the sense of loss of her immediate family. Such great memories when spending time at their home, like the time she made our corsages for the prom. She was always loving and always easy to talk with. Sending condolences to the family.
