She cut my son gunnars hair because every generation of her family has cut the Ball hair like 5 generations so there of course had to be a 6th generation and everytime she walked by on her daily walks she would ask how the kids are. She has seen my twins grow up and into 2 years olds. There are many of times I have sat and talked with her along with some other people! I loved listening to her stories too! She is definitely going to be missed so much!

Elizabeth, thank you for your kind words and the photo of our Mom cutting Gunner's hair. She would be happy to know you remembered her. My Dad would be happy to know that my Mom carried on a Lambert hair cutting generation to the Ball family and I am sure he did not realize there was another barber in the family. There was nothing better than being in my hometown of Savannah, NY and spending time with my former neighbor, Yolanda “Londy” Lambert. She passed earlier this week at age 97. She was the longtime Secretary of my Dad, Harold Secor who was then the President of what is now Third Generation of Secor Lumber. Third Generation ownership in Family Companies is rare in the United States. It’s a testament to the Secor Family & their work ethic. Yolanda Lambert had an incredible impact on Secor Lumber as a dedicated Secretary to the President of this Family Company who has been and will be forever grateful. Good Bless You, dear Londy. ❤️

Thank you Dawn for your kind words. Mom truely enjoyed working at Secor's and for Harold and Edwin. I don't ever remember her job being a 9-5 job for her, but more what she did every work day for the good of a company and her family. Her values were genuine and her work ethics were solid.
