Clarence Bell, 71, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, at Rochester General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Friends and family are invited to call, Friday, August 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Norton Funeral Home, 45 W. Main St., Sodus. A funeral service will follow at, 1 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Sodus Rural Cemetery.

Born on May 31, 1954, in Raleigh, North Carolina, he was the son of the late George Miller and Jannie M. Green. He graduated from Sodus High School and spent many dedicated years working at Plassche Lumber, Inc. in Newark. Clarence found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially fishing, which brought him peace and reflection.

He is survived by his children: Theresa, Clarence, and Christopher Bell; his sisters: Bertha Jackson, Joann Jones, and Carrie Foster; his brothers: Gary and George Edward Bell; as well as a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish his memory.

Clarence will be remembered for his quiet strength, his devotion to family, and the warmth he shared with all who knew him.
