John DeVeronica, 75, passed away peacefully Monday eveningDecember 15, 2025, at the Laurel House, Newark.

A celebration of John’s life will be held on Saturday, May 23, at the E. Palmyra Fire Hall, 2145 Tellier Road, Palmyra, NY 14522.John’s family requests that memorial contributions be directed to Laurel House Comfort Care Home, 224 Fair Street, Newark, NY 14513.

John was born on July 23, 1950, in Rochester, the son of the late Louis and Louise (Priest) DeVeronica. He served in the National Guard from 1971–1977. John worked as a mechanic for several area businesses, most recently at B & M Paving in Webster.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Langston); his sons Walter and John; sisters Anita Rothuss and Lori Trevinor; brothers Tommy, Randy, and Jeff; his neighbors, best friends, and caregivers Randy and Tina Dickenson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
