Lois Mae Rice, 87, of Geneseo, formerly of Savannah passed away on October 17th, 2016 surrounded by family. She is predeceased by her husband Carlton Rice; daughter Krista Rice; parents Howard and Dorothy VanHee and brother Herbert VanHee. She is survived by her daughters Valerie (Ron) Maxwell and Roxann (Clark) Scheerens; grandchildren Tyler Scheerens and Carlton Maxwell; sister Jane Doty, nieces and nephews; cousins and friends. She was an active Eastern Star member and she was a member of the Savannah Methodist Church. All services are private. Burial will be in the Butler Center Cemetery in Butler Center, New York.
