Sodus Sam Green Sodus, New York: On November 23,2016 passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the age of 68. Predeceased by his parents Cathrine Green and father Henry Green; his mother and father in-laws Emma Mae Raggs and Jessie Raggs; his son Jamel D’Haiti, his sisters, Ethel Lee Johnson, Albirta Lewis, Jessie Mae Tubs, Robbie Jean Seals, Celestine Harris, Bobbie Keep, Clevestor Jackson, and Erlaine Green, his brothers, Robert Lee Green, Jimmy Lee Green, Henery Green, George Green, Willie Lee Williams, and Soloman Brown. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Doreen Green, his daughters, Veronica Carter, Lashawn Green, Samantha Douglas(John), Andrea Green(Joe), Sharlene Smith, Darlene Smith, Rosemond Payne(Mauricus), his sons, Mervin Raggs, Anthony Raggs(Willie Mae), Archange D’Haiti, Eli Vereeland. His sisters Catherine Ivy, Everlene Milligan, his brother Jackson Green, 17 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, a host of niece and nephews. Family will receive friends 1-2pm Tuesday DEC,6th 2016 at United Presbyterian Church, located at 31 West Main Street, Sodus, New York 14551. Funeral will be held at 2pm at the same location after the viewing.
