Sodus: Age 69 of Sodus, NY, passed away suddenly on Sunday January 18, 2015 at her residence. Marytherese was predeceased by her parents Eldora and Thomas Scott, and by brother Thomas Scott. She is survived by her siblings, Martin (Bonnie) Scott, Loren (Sue) Scott, Eldora Beaton, James (Melody) Scott, Catherine Scott, Norbert Scott; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; friends Stacy, Amy, Tina, and many others who enjoyed and appreciated her kind spirit, caring manor, deep Christian religious beliefs, volunteer work, and her compassion for people and animals.
Private services are under the direction of the Norton Funeral Home of Sodus. Marytherese’s family has requested the courtesy of no flowers, and instead requests a memory contribution in her name to Literacy Volunteers of Wayne County Inc., 12 Canal Street, Lyons, NY 14489, or to the Humane Society of Wayne County, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, NY 14489.
