Wolcott: Loving wife and mother, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 1, 2015. Joyce was a life-long Wolcott resident. She graduated from Leavenworth Central School and was employed by Sarah Coventry, Xerox and Cahoon Farms. Joyce is survived by husband Thomas C. Brinkman, Sr.; son Thomas C. Brinkman, Jr.; brother Kenneth D. Decker (April) of Ontario; many other family and friends and beloved pets Ziggy and Kitty. She was predeceased by her parents Kenneth L. and Betty Decker. Joyce enjoyed tag sales, bowling and bingo. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Wolcott and volunteered at the Community Clothing Center. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 6025 New Hartford Street in Wolcott, with funeral service immediately following. Interment will be this spring at the Huron Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pines of Peace Comfort Care Home, 2378 Ridge Rd., Ontario, NY 14519 or to the First Baptist Church.
