Lyons: Passed away on February 12th, at age 65 following a brief illness. Wendy is survived by sons Timothy (Karen) Vanderlinde and Jeremy (Sarah) Vanderlinde; grandchildren Jacob, Mara, Gus and Sam; her mother Edna Johnson; siblings Cynthia (Raymond) Mire, Robert Hale, Rick (Sue) Hale, Debbie (John) Maggio, Laura (Mark) Czolowski; sister-in-law Linda Rider; many nieces and nephews. Wendy was predeceased by her husband Larry, and by her father Robert Hale.
Wendy had been a long time employee of Myers Community Hospital and then Newark Wayne Community Hospital. She was a member of the Sodus Town Ambulance Corps, Twig Association of Myers Hospital, enjoyed hunting, fishing, travelling, camping and gardening.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, February 15th, from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from the Sodus First United Presbyterian Church, 31 West Main Street in Sodus. On-line condolences to Wendy’s family may be sent to: www.hsnorton.com
