Sodus: Passed away on Thursday May 7th, age 68, following a long courageous 8 year battle with cancer. Shirley is survived by her son John (Kim) Bullock; daughter Donna (Bob) Conrow; grandchildren Robert Bullock, Lauren Bullock, and Megan Bullock; brothers Larry (Leslie) Wahl, and Doug (Kathy) Wahl; sister Diane (Mark) Lowley; brother-in-law Edward Fuchs; nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friend Bessie Johnson; many friends at Sodus Benton Place Estates in Sodus. Shirley was predeceased by her parents Harry and Margaret Wahl, sister Linda Fuchs, and niece Heidi Westfall. An avid photographer of nature scenes, Shirley was also a talented artist. She enjoyed her plants and flowers, and her many bird feeders. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday May 13th from 3-6 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. There will be a gathering immediately following in the community room, building A at Sodus Benton Place Estates, 7 Newark Street in Sodus. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Shirley may be directed to either the Sodus, or Sodus Center Ambulance.
