Obituary of Carol Joan Pedzich

Pedzich, Carol Joan Webster Carol Joan Pedzich passed away Sunday June 26, 2016 at their cottage on Port Bay at the age of 67. Joan is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Bob Pedzich; 2 sons, Keith (Michelle) Pedzich of Canandaigua, New York, Adam (Missy) Pedzich of Lewiston, New York; grandchildren, Sophie Grace, Colbi Addison and Jax Stanley; siblings, Rodger (Linda) Kendrick of Riverside, New Jersey, Helen (Don) Shugart of Oriskany, New York and Jean (Steve) Kammerer of Thousand Oaks, California. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Joan graduated from high school in New Hartford, NY. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from S.U.N.Y. Oswego and her Masters of Library Science from S.U.N.Y. Geneseo. Joan was the Director of Library Services at the Harris Beach Law Firm in Rochester before retiring in 2011. Since retiring in 2011 she has been very active as a volunteer compeer and a regular reviewer of material for the National Library Journal. Joan has been spending more time writing short stories and many of them have been published. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 9 am at the White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY. In lieu of flowers, Joan’s family has requested contributions to be made in her memory to WXXI Member Services, PO Box 20570, Rochester, NY 14602 and The Little Theatre, 240 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14604.
