Patricia A. (Hollenbeck) DeCracker

Patricia DeCracker, 84, passed away July 30, 2024, at Wayne County Nursing Home.
Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours Wednesday, August 7, from 2 – 4 PM at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 W. Main Street, Sodus, NY. A service will be held immediately after, at 4 PM, at the funeral Home. Following the service the family will hold a reception at the Driftriders Club Pub, Centenary Rd., Sodus, NY. A private burial will be held Thursday, August 8 at 10:00AM at the Marion Cemetery.
Patricia was born on February 1, 1940 in Endicott, NY, the daughter of the late Claude and Margaret (Smith) Hollenbeck. She was a graduate of Williamson High School. Patricia was a secretary for the Salem Towne Insurance Agency in Sodus for many years; she was also an Avon Lady and she worked as a cafeteria aide for the Sodus Central primary school where she met Art Miller who considered her like a mother to him. She enjoyed her flower gardens and spending time with family and especially loved dancing with Richard.
She is survived by her daughter; Laura (Ron Sawyer) Miller, son; John
(Bernice) Miller; her step-daughter; Nina Cuvelier and step-son; Steve (Nancy) DeCracker, sister; Bonnie Merchant and brother; Butch Hollenbeck, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Patricia is also survived by very special friends; Emma Jane and Frank Shirtz and their family, who she treated like her own and was loved in return.
Besides her parents, Patricia is predeceased by her husband, Richard J. in 2005, son-in-law; Brad Cuvelier, sister; Doris Boyd and brother; Ronald Hollenbeck.
