Obituary of Donald Lindenmuth

Sodus Point Don Lindenmuth passed away Thursday August 11, 2016 at the Wayne County Nursing Home at the age of 79. Mr. Lindenmuth was predeceased by his parents Roy and Edith Lindenmuth and son Thomas Lindenmuth. Don is survived by his wife, Nancy Lindenmuth of more than 50 years and his children: Donald (Stella) Lindenmuth, Donna (Rich) Daniels, Donald Lindenmuth Jr., Chuck (Jackie) Lindenmuth, Mark (Glenna) Lindenmuth, Tammy (Carl) Lent, Tracy Peckham, Tina Boyer and Kelly Lindenmuth. He is also survived by his sisters; Shirley (Rich) Lewis and Nancy Sullivan; brother Gordon Lindenmuth along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins as well as many friends. Don worked as a carpet installer for many years before he went to work as a truck driver for WECO Manufacturing. He retired at the age of 72. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and Don was a member of the Sodus Bay Sportsman’s Club where he volunteered for many years. Friends may call on Monday, August 15 at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus from 3 pm to 6 pm where the Funeral Service will follow. Interment will be Tuesday at the West Bloomfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Foundation or to the Hospice Alzheimer’s Foundation. Family and friends are invited to a reception following the Funeral Service at the Sodus Bay Sportsman’s Club located on Margaretta Road in Sodus Point.
