Red Creek/Wolcott Agnes M. Williams of Wolcott, NY passed away peacefully at home on August 21, 2016 at the age of 80. She was born August 12, 1936 to Frederick and Viola Karnes of St. Joseph, Missouri. Aggie was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Gerald (Jerry) L Williams, Sr. She is survived by her six children; Terry (Phil) LaRussa, Gerald Jr (Kate) Williams, Deb (Larry) Barber, Sheila (Joe) Syrell, Cindy (Jim) Heck, Lois (Mike) Stanley, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, son-in-law Jim Gardner, a brother Fred Karnes of Missouri, a brother and sister-in-law Lee and Evelyn Williams of Pennsylvania, and several nieces and nephews. Aggie owned and operated her own beauty shop in Red Creek for 17 years until an illness forced her to close. She then traveled cross country with Jerry until they retired from trucking. There will be a celebration of Aggie’s life on Saturday, September 17th at the Red Creek Fire Department starting at 2pm. Donations can be made in her name to the Red Creek Fire Department, PO Box 359, Red Creek, NY, 13143 or the Alzheimer’s Syracuse Chapter, 441 West Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY, 13204.
