Ollie C. Snipes, 79, of Sodus, passed away surrounded by family and friends on November 17, 2016. She was born on August 16, 1937 in Midway, Alabama to the late Henry and Rubbie Tarver.
She is survived by her children Mildred of Midway, AL, Matteva of Orlando, FL, Willie (Diane) of Tuskegee, AL, Charles (Jackie) of Sodus, Leona (Dominic) of Silver Spring, MD, Freddie Jr. of Rochester and Carolyn (Ozie) of Newark; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may call on Friday, November 25th, 2016 from 5-8pm at Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main St. in Sodus. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 26th, 2016 at 11AM at the Little Bethel M.B. Church, 6336 South Centenary Rd., Sodus, New York 14551. Interment will be held immediately following the funeral at the Sodus Rural Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed online at hsnorton.com.
