Frank VanderBrook passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 in Florida at the age of 94.  Frank was predeceased by his loving wife of 68 years, Marjorie VanderBrook, their son Private First Class GaryVanderBrook who was killed in action in South Viet Nam in 1969; his brother John and his sister Minnie.  Frank is survived by his daughters Linda VanderBrook, Lori (Scot) McClintock and Vicki (Garry) Guggenbickler; grandchildren Sara, Shaun, Holly and Lindsay; great-grandchildren Natalie, Kylie, Lia, Ella, Josie, Maddison and Regan; and sister Elinor VanderBrook.

Frank worked for Rochester Gas & Electric for 38 years.  He was a member of the Masons and the Rotary Club. Frank was also a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America and a member of the Sodus Volunteer Ambulance Corp.  Frank was the Leader of the Sodus Go-Getters Club.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Friends may call on Monday, July 24th  from 12-2pm  at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main St., Sodus, NY.  A memorial service will be at 2pm with interment immediately following at the Sodus Rural Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested for donations in Frank’s memory be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 435 East Henrietta Rd, Rochester, NY 14620.
