Obituary of Gerald L Kaltenborn

Wolcott: Age 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017. Gerald was pre-deceased by his wife Janet, of 54 years, in 2014 and furry friend of 13 years, Spanky. He is survived by his daughter Deborah Kaltenborn of Wolcott; sons Daniel (Donna) Kaltenborn of Baldwinsville, and Derek Kaltenborn of Wolcott; grandson Ryan of Rochester; great grandson Landyn also of Rochester; brother-in-laws James Kitchen of Sherburn and Dwight (Alice) Kitchen of Pittsford, sister-in-law JoAnne (Doug) Venette of Red Creek, several other relatives and friends.

Jerry was a retiree of the Genesee Brewing Co. in Rochester after having worked there for 34 years. His commitment and dedication was also evident in the love for his family and friends and also his community. He was a 55 year Member of the Wolcott Elk’s Lodge #1763

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 27th from 1-4 & 7-9 pm at the Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford St. in Wolcott, where his funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday. Interment in Huron Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to:  “Youth Activities” , Wolcott Elk’s Lodge #1763, 6161 W. Port Bay Rd., Wolcott, NY 14590.
