Obituary of Edward L Williams

Age 80,  passed away peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the DeMay Living Center in Newark, NY surrounded by his loving family.  Edward is survived by his wife, Elaine of 59 years; his children: Todd (Robyn) of Beaufort, SC, Mark (Joan) of Brighton, CO, Eric (Gayle) of Washougal, WA, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, brothers Tom of Macedon and Lewis of Savannah, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relativs and friends.

Ed was employed by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Dept for 29 ½ years and retired in 1992 as a detective. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Ed was a member of Hilltop Gun Club,  Savannah American Legion Post #1343 and he a was 32^nd  Degree Mason, Lodge #764 for 50 years.

Calling hours will be observed on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 10am-11am at the Congregational Church-Savannah, 1592 North Main Street, Savannah, NY where a memorial service will follow at 11am.
