Obituary of Marianne Haeusing

Sodus: Age 87 passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Rochester General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Karl in 2008. Marianne is survived by her daughters Ulrike (John) Braun and Heidelore (Tom) Ronan; sons Karl W. Haeusing and Robert Haeusing;  4 grandchildren Christopher and Nicholas Braun and Lindsay and Harrison Ronan; and 2 great grandchildren Samuel Ockman and John Braun.

Marianne was born and raised in Germany where as a young child had lived through the war years and experienced the many hardships of those times. She married and immigrated to San Antonio, TX in 1955 while raising her 4 children, learning a new language and a new way of life. When her husband took a new job at Xerox in Webster, they all moved to New York where she devoted all of her time and love to her family which was most precious to her. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Private services will be held at the families’ request. Arrangements entrusted to Norton Funeral Home, Sodus NY.
