Obituary of Alice Ruth Sprout

Alice passed away on December 12th, 2017 after a brief illness. Alice was born in Hegins, PA. Alice worked first as an educator in the North Rose School system and finished her career as a Home Economist with Cornell Cooperative Extension. Alice loved life to the fullest including cooking with friends, spending time Rv’ing and quilting. She enjoyed volunteering at the North Rose United Methodist Church and Jekyll Island Turtle Rescue Center.  She leaves behind her Husband Fred, Sons Eric & Jon, Daughters-in-law Angie and Danielle and Grandchildren Parker and Noah and Brother Irvin.

Calling Hours will be held from 1-3pm Friday 15th, 2017 at the North Rose United Methodist Church. A Memorial service will be held from 3-4pm with a celebration to follow. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to the North Rose United Methodist Church or the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Greece, NY.
