Sodus Point: Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday December 21st, 2011 at home. Eleanor is predeceased by her husband Gary Clark, brother Harold “Whitey” Beckens, and by her parents Peter and Dorothy Beckens. She is survived by brothers Gerald (Marie) Beckens and Donald “Red” (Sharon) Beckens; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus, Wednesday December 28th from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Eleanor’s funeral will immediately following the conclusion of visitation at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at the Baptist Rural Cemetery in Sodus Center. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Eleanor may be made to the Cure Childhood Cancer Association, 200 Westfall Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
