Miller, Linda Marie

Linda Marie Miller, age 64 of Rose, NY passed away unexpectedly at Newark Wayne Hospital on Monday, January 15th, 2018.

Linda was born on December 8th, 1953 in Massena, NY.  At the age of 7 her family moved to Wolcott, NY. She was the daughter of Marvin and Ethel Miller. She graduated from Sodus High School in 1972  and she worked for many years at Dynalec Corporation in Sodus. For the last 17 years she worked for Seneca Foods in Geneva. Linda lived almost her whole life in this area but spent a couple years in Florida in the 70’s. She had many interests over the years, counted cross stitch, sudoku puzzles, computer games and card games. She was very lucky with scratch off tickets too. She loved her cats and took in many strays over the years. Linda was an avid sports fan, following college basketball, football and golf. Everyone that knew Linda appreciated her sense of humor and infectious laughter. She was a very kind hearted person and loved to find a good bargain.

Linda is survived by her lifelong partner, Bill and her son Kelly Miller. She is also survived by 5 sisters and 2 brothers; Sandi (Becky) of Bradenton, FL, Glenn (Andy) of Wellborn, FL,  Joan (Terry) Farnham of Bradenton, FL, Marva (Val) Crane of Dallas, GA, Brenda (Joyce) of Sarasota, FL, Cheryl (Joie) Smith of Savannah, NY and Jeff (Annie) of Sebastopol, CA. She also leave many loving nieces, nephews, grand- nieces, grand-nephew, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Linda was a big part of all our lives and will be missed greatly.

Per Linda’s request there will be no funeral service. The family will hold a memorial service in the spring.
