Obituary of Robert J. Becker

Robert J. Becker passed away peacefully on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Island Health & Rehabilitation Center in Merritt Island, Florida at the age of 93.  Robert was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Barbara P. Becker, sister, Martha J. Clement and son, Patrick J. Becker in October 2017. He is survived by his daughter Kathleen A. (Samuel R.) Alessi, granddaughters Alysia A. Alessi and Shauna L. (Joseph) Davis and 3 great grandchildren and he is also survived by his loving partner Barbara Pyle and extended family, and sister-in-law, Susan Burkhalter of New Jersey along with many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Robert was in the US Army where he served during WWII. He retired from RG&E in 1990 as a general line foreman. Robert was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #394 in Williamson, NY.

Friends may call on Thursday, May 3rd , 2018 from 2pm-6pm at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 W. Main Street, Sodus, NY.  There will be a graveside service at noon on Friday, May 4th at the Sodus Rural Cemetery.
