My family was very fortunate meeting and knowing Bernie and family. He was the helper of the neighborhood, if it was broken and you had questions Bernie had answers. If you just wanted to chat about life Bernie could offer advice or make you laugh in the hardest times. Bernie used to tell stories of his youthful days and the drag cars. My family is Thankful for getting to know him. We are so sorry to hear of the loss and may god be with the family in these difficult times.

Thinking of you all at this time. I can remember always knowing when Bernie, Brian and Sara were working on the drag car and hearing the sound of the engine when it was being "tuned up" all the way over at my house.

To all the family and friends of Bernard / berny.
I am so sorry for the pain and sorrow you all are felling and going through right now, he will be missed deepely. I was blessed to really get to know burny after they bought a John deer tractor from my mom and just before my dad passed on. Ever sence that day I would then always see him at auctions. All the time and he would alway try to show and teach me about knowing what's worth buying and not worth buying. Now how to tell when the bid is about to stop and then you through yours in and get the item your biding on and not through the bid in because it's going to go to high. He alway had it right. So the morel of what I am saying is if your going to spend you money spend wisely and spend it on something that is going to give you a return on it and not for just right now for for long term beniffet. Because somtimes in the auction world . they say one man's junk is another man's treasure. So try I said. And then berny replyed back but Amway remember this all though one man's junk is another man's treasure. Junk is junk treasure is treasure and you just need to know how to see the treasure before you invest anything into it because it could still be junk if you don't know. Again I am sorry for your loss for he is a supper man to know and a really fun guy to hang out with when your with him .

Anytime I was at your house you always stopped what you were doing to stop over and chat no matter how busy you were. I enjoyed our talks and how you cared so much about family and friends. May your family find peace in knowing how much you are respected and loved. Your memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew you.

Loved grandpa. He was always one of those cheer ya up when your down with out realizing he was doing it. Big story teller, but don't dare interrupt him. He loved fishing, mainly bullhead.. I remember we used to go night fishing every other weekend. Some times it would be 6 in the morning by time we were done. Nothing can take away the memories of long beautiful nights hooking the big ones and eating a chili hot dog with our dirty hands from fish and worms. He will be forever missed and never forgotten.
