Patty , Tracy and family,
I am so truly sorry for the loss of your mother. She always had a smile and a welcoming way about her. I will always remember her in the liquor store getting me to buy pull tabs! And of course her Great Dane! Such a wonderful person! May you find peace and resolution in the Lord calling her home. God be with you all.

Norma was my very first friend.
We walked to kindergarten together...I would meet her at the corner of Broad and Queen St, and we held hands on our way down the hill to the white "house" at the bottom.
I remember her throughout our school years as a grounded, smart, no-nonsense person, a steady reliable friend. I think we both played the French Horn but she was was far more accomplished than I and much less clumsy in PE.
We lost touch after I left Lyons, and I regret that deeply.
Norma and her welcoming parents were instrumental in "raising" me to feel ok about myself. And my memory of our climbing the butternut (?) tree together in her back yard when we were in grade school raises tears of sorrow and gratitude.

For all the times you gently picked me up,
When I fell down,
For all the times you tied my shoes
And tucked me into bed,
Or needed something
But put me first instead.
For everything we shared,
The dreams, the laughter,
And the tears,
I love you with a Special Love
That deepens every year.
Thank You Mom

Butch and all of Norma's family. I am so sorry for your loss you are in my prayers and thoughts at this time. I have missed seeing you at mass at St Ant5honys. It was always nice to see Lyons school mates and in Norma's case up the hill and around the corner neighbors from when we were all kids .

I am very sorry to hear about Norma's passing. Norma and Butch were two of Marilynns and my closest friends. The seven years we were with them at the liquor store were some of the best years of Marilynns life . I know what you are going through and I will be in touch with you. Your good friend Bob.

I knew Norma when I was young. I can remember going to our cottage on Sodus bay and Butch and Norma would drive their boat over and hang out with my parents (Sue and Bobby Brayer). They would take us all out to the sandbar and we would have a blast!! I am very sorry to hear of Norma's passing and offer my deepest sympathies to Butch and the rest of the family. She was truly a wonderful person.
