Williamson: At age 94 on January 23, surrounded by her family. Survived by children, Daryl (Bonnie) Luke of Webster, Carolyn (Keith) Benjamin of Newark, Eileen “Pene” Luke of Marion, Larry (Diane) Luke of Williamson; grandchildren, Nicole (Andy) Marshall, Jeff (Nikki Shay) Luke, Karin (Ken) Davison, Craig Benjamin, Rayanne, Andy and Kelly Luke; great grandsons, Everett and Ethan Davison, and Evan Marshall; sisters, Rena Speers and Evelyn Winter; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Raymond in 1986; son, Wendell in 1950; parents Edward and Mary Hermenent DeGroot; siblings, Raymond DeGroot, Marjorie Rothfuss, and Mabel Reynolds.
No prior visitation, private interment will be at the Webster Rural Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to Liz’s Memorial Service on Saturday, January 28, 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 4146 East Main Street in Williamson, where a reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Williamson Town Park or the Williamson Fire Department. Arrangements by the Norton Funeral Home of Sodus and the Young Funeral Home of Williamson.
