Wolcott: Passed away on Thursday January 27th, 2011 at age 79. Gordon is survived by his wife Mary Howell Smith; his children Katerine (Carl) Crawford of Sterling, Joie (Cheryl) Smith of Savannah, Fay (Robert) Storto of Lyons, David (Juanita) Smith of Savannah, Linda (Daniel) Smith of Rockledge FL, Betty (Randy) Cole of Savannah, Donna (Pastor) Castillo of Stanley; step-daughters Tammy and Sally; 41 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. Gordon is predeceased by brothers Leo and Olin, and by sister Freida.
Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. & Wednesday from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford Street, Wolcott where his funeral service will be held at noon. Interment will be at the Huron Evergreen Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Gordon may be sent to the Wolcott Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 5841 New Hartford Street in Wolcott.
