Wolcott: Passed away on Thursday February 23rd, age 72. Diane is survived by her sons Lynn (Alice) Van Gorder of Wolcott, Chris Van Gorder of Reston, VA, and Randy (Lourin) Van Gorder of New Port Richie, FL; granddaughter Kaitlynn and grandson Shadow; brother-in-law Dean Van Gorder of Newark and Richard Cole of Port Gibson; several nieces and nephews; and Ruth Starck, long time companion of Wayne Van Gorder. Diane is predeceased by her husband Gary Van Gorder in 1999; sisters Sally Deem of Phelps and Kathy Cole of Port Gibson; brother-in-laws Wayne and Eric Van Gorder, Bob Deem; and by sister-in-laws Irene and Kate Van Gorder.
There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be Sunday March 4th, 2 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford Street in Wolcott. Donations in memory of Diane may be directed to the Wolcott Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps (WAVAC), 5841 New Hartford Street, Wolcott, NY 14590.
