Wolcott: Age 87, passed away on Friday, March 2nd, 2012 following a brief illness. Walt is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lorraine; son Kenneth (Kim) Dobbin; daughter Sandie Van Deusen; grandchildren Sean (Erin), Brady (Tara) and Joshua Dobbin, Angie, Rachel (Zack), Edward and Kris Van Deusen, Jillian and Jared Sherwin; great-grandchildren Lilli, Cian, and Andrew Dobbin. Walt was predeceased by his granddaughter Sarah Van Deusen, and by his brother Albert Dobbin.
Founder of Dobbin Insurance Agency in 1952, Walt was a 50 plus year member of the Wolcott Lions Club, and a 40 plus year member of North Rose Wolcott Lodge # 1187 F. & A.M.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday March 9th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church, 12223 Oswego Street, Wolcott. A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Walt Dobbin will be Saturday March 10th 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at the convenience of the Dobbin family. Arr: Norton Funeral Home of Wolcott.
