Ontario: Ruth M. Vande Walle, age 90, formerly of Brown Square in Ontario passed away on Thursday May 24th, at the Blossom View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sodus. Ruth is survived by her brother Mark (Margaret) Vande Walle of Carlton North, Victoria, Australia; niece Suzanne (Stewart) Broyles of Midlothian, Virginia, nephews John (Jim) Vande Walle of Eagan, Minnesota, Thomas (Debby) Vande Walle of Richmond, Virginia: and great nephew Elliot (Melissa) Broyles, great niece Claire Broyles, and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 8th from 10 – 11 a.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street, Sodus. A funeral service for Ruth will be held at 11 a.m., Rev. John Paust of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Ontario, officiating. Interment will be at the Furnaceville Cemetery in Ontario.
Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
