Sodus: Age 78 passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2011. He is predeceased by his wife of 33 years, Myrle (Eaton). Jim is survived by children James (Joyce) Oakley Jr., Michael Oakley, Kathleen (George) Collins, Judy Oakley, and Penny (Steve) Weinstein all of California; step-daughters Jerilea (Jim) Coulombe, Melody (Kevin) Maine, Cheryl Toor, Rebecca (Roger) Crane; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Merrill (Donna) of Florida; sister Mary of California.
A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s memory should be directed to the Alton Fire Department, PO Box 2, Alton, NY 14413. Arr: Norton Funeral Home.
