Obituary of Dorothy DeHondt

SODUS: Age 93, formerly of Belden Avenue, died on July 4th at the Blossom View Nursing Home. Dorothy was formerly employed at the Knapp Drug Store in Sodus, Chaffee’s in Newark, and then at the Sodus Pharmacy.
She is survived by her brother: William of Sodus; two sisters: Shirley (Daniel) Patchett of Sodus and Margaret Fox of Sanford Florida; niece, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will not be observed. A private graveside service will be held at Sodus Rural Cemetery at the convenience of her family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Dorothy’s memory to the Sodus Community Library Capital Building Fund. Arrangements: Norton Funeral Home of Sodus.
