Sodus: Passed away on Thursday September 20, 2012 at age 95. Jane is survived by her children, Freeman (Patricia) Cottrell of Cherry Hill, NJ, Ned (Marcia) Cottrell of Sodus, John (Patricia) Cottrell of Stratford, CT, and Jamie Cottrell (Sharon Sill) of Sodus Point; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Jane was predeceased by her husband Freeman in 1997, brother and sister-in-law Roger and Dorothy Butts, sister and brother-in-law Helen Elizabeth (Robert) Wildman, daughter-in-laws Norine and Janine Cottrell; nephew Robert Wildman.
Visitation will not be observed. Jane’s funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday September 29th, at the Joy Community Center, Joy Road in Sodus. Interment will be at the Sodus Rural Cemetery. Donations in memory of Jane should be directed to the Sodus Community Library, 17 Maple Ave, Sodus, NY 14551. Arr: Norton Funeral Home of Sodus.
