Jean Marie Ginder, age 75, formerly of Lyons and Massena, passed away on October 4, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. Jean is survived by her 3 sons and daughters-in-law: Bruce (Maryann) of Pittsford, Scott (Dearra) of Louisville, TN., Dean (Kristina) of Victor; grandchildren Michael, Ryan, Gregory, Rachel, Megan, Frederick and Johannes; sisters: Bette (Louis) Kuennen of Libby, MT, Susan Anderson of Friday Harbor, WA; 9 nieces and nephews; 17 grand-nieces and nephews; several cousins and many friends.
For many years Jean served as a Registered Nurse at the Lyons Community Hospital and was a health teacher at the Massena High School.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday October 19th, 12 noon at Sacred Heart Church, 212 Main Street in Massena, NY. A Memorial Mass will be held at Church of the Epiphany (St. Maximillian Kolbe Parish) 105 West Main Street, Sodus, NY on Saturday October 20th at 1:00 p.m. A reception for family and friends will follow at the Parish Center. Interment will be held at the convenience of Jean’s family.
