Wallington: Passed away on Friday October 19th at the age of 60. Billy is survived by his mother Iona Camp of Geneva; sister Elaine (Jay) Hanagan of Geneva; niece Tessa Hanagan of Geneva; nephew Thomas (Emily) Hanagan of Lima; great niece Elizabeth Hanagan of Lima; best friends Kenneth Eastley, Sharon, Shawn and John Iwasiw, Shannon, Chad, Keaira and Tyler Notebaert; several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family at the Wallington Fire Department; and special canine friends Scooty, Rex, Midnight and Addy. Billy was predeceased by his father William B. Camp. Born in Sodus on March 24, 1952, he was a 31 year employee of Delco Products in Rochester, a 37 year member of the Wallington Fire Department, as well as being a Fire Commissioner for the district. He took great interest in the fire department where he spent a great deal of time furthering the ideals of fire service. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. Billy’s funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment with fire department honors will be at the Sodus Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wallington Fire Department may be sent to PO Box 57, Sodus, NY 14551.
