Savannah: Passed away on Tuesday November 13th, at age 60. Mike is survived by his mother Shirley Potlaski; son Eric (Loretta); daughter Megan (Aaron); grandchildren Dezarea, Eric Jr., Damian and Adyen; sisters Patricia (Larry) Marriott, Dawn (Leon) Waldron; brothers Ricky (Roxanne) Potlaski, Timothy (Tammy) Potlaski; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Mike was predeceased by his father Henry in 1984.
Mike was a retiree of the Wayne County Office of Sheriff, where he had served 24 years as a Corrections Officer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, baking and riding his Harley.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 19th, from 11-1 at the Savannah Community Church, 13368 Seneca Street in Savannah. Funeral services will be held following visitation, interment will be at the Crusoe Cemetery in Savannah. Mike’s family has requested that you consider a memorial contribution in lieu of flowers, to either the Savannah Volunteer Fire Department, or to the Savannah Community Church.
