Obituary of Maurice M. Foster

Antrim, New Hampshire: Maurice M. Foster, age 84 formerly of Williamson. Passed away on Friday March 4, 2011 at the Blossom View Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born in Gorham, New Hampshire on March 12, 1926, he is the son of the late Cyril and Marion Foster. Maurice married his high school sweetheart, Doris Hartford, and together they created a home in Lancaster, NH where they raised their family of 2 sons and 3 daughters. He built is own construction business which he operated for many years. In his later years he worked for the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home. Maurice’s passions were his family, his construction equipment and cooking. Maurice is survived by his wife of 63 years Doris Hartford Foster; son Craig Foster and his loving partner Christina Jeffery of Antrim, NH; daughters Judith Nortier and her husband Jim of Sodus, NY, Dianne Hadley and her husband Harold of Williamson, NY and Karen Finch of Ontario, NY; daughter-in-law Jennifer Foster; son-in-law Frank Vitalone; grandchildren Stephanie, Stacy, Heather, Jessica, Jason, Tina, Virginia and Adam; 11 great-grandchildren. Maurice was predeceased by his son David Allen Foster, granddaughter Angela Vitalone and by son-in-law Bernard Finch. Visitation and a funeral service will not be observed. Interment will be held at the convenience of Maurice’s family.
