Sodus: Passed away on Friday January 4th at age 87. Betty is survived by son Terry (Marilyn) Cole; daughter Sandra (Glenn) Manktelow; grandchildren Jaime (Jason) Moir, Alex (Amy) Cole and Annie Cole; great grandchildren Kaitlyn Cole, Hailey Cole, Cole Moir and Charlotte Moir; several nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her husband Raymond T. Cole on February 20, 2007.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday January 9th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. Her funeral service will immediately follow at the conclusion of visitation. Private family interment will be at the Sodus Rural Cemetery.
Betty was a 56 year member of Sodus Chapter #521, Order of Eastern Star where she had served as Matron and also as District Deputy Grand Matron. She was also a member of the United Third Methodist Church of Sodus. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be sent to the American Heart Association, 3500 Winton Place, Rochester, NY 14623.
