EAST WILLIAMSON: Passed away on February 5th, age 92 at the Blossom View Nursing Home in Sodus. George is survived by his wife Florence, whom he married on July 14th, 1944; his sister Mildred Loveless; sister-in-law Rosalyn Connor; nephews Dan (Eileen) Reese and George (Jan) Reese; niece Susan Soricone; grand nephew Carl (Darlene) Ocque.
George was a World War II veteran, having served with the Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theater. He and Florence moved to the East Williamson area following their retirement in East Providence, Rhode Island.
A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday February 20th, 1:00 p.m. from the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 102 Hope Avenue in Newark. Spring interment with Military Funeral Honors will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Rochester, New York.
