Obituary of Mertie Van Steinburg

Sodus Point: Passed away on Sunday February 17th, age 90 at the Blossom View Nursing Home in Sodus. Mertie was predeceased by her husband Louis E. VanSteinburg in July of 1963.
She is survived by sons Robert (Robin) Scoville of Sodus, and Ronald (Edna) Scoville of New Kent, Virginia; sisters Jum (Ken) Cote of Florida and Margaret Critchfield of Fairhaven; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 19th from 11 – 1 p.m. with her funeral service immediately following, from Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. Spring interment will be at the Sodus Rural Cemetery.
