Obituary of JoAnne Francis Bowers

Wolcott: Age 75, passed away on June 7, 2019 at Rochester General Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Keith Bowers and son, Jason Bowers, whom she was a loving mother to. She will be surely missed by her family and friends, including her special friends Cheryl and Gary Mettler.

JoAnne was a childcare provider in her home for many years. She loved flowers, sunshine, children, her dog Izzy and her church family. She loved her Christmas decorations and put on the most amazing Christmas party ever. Her baked goods were cherished and will be missed by many.

Friends may call Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Faith United Methodist Church in Wolcott, where services will follow at 2:00pm, after which a reception will be held in the Church Hall. Interment will be at Huron Evergreen Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made in her memory at Faith United Methodist Church at 12223 Oswego St, Wolcott, NY 14590.
