Obituary of Richard Charles Keefe

Savannah: Age 79, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2020 with his family by his side on his 52nd wedding anniversary. Dick is survived by his wife, Marcia Matteson Keefe; children, David ( Tracy) Keefe, Denise (Daniel) Callahan and Karla VanFleet; grandchildren, Luke, Noah, Mia, Brandon, Mason, Morgan and Liam; Brothers, John (Beatrice) Keefe, Larry (Betsy) Keefe and Pat Keefe. Dick was predeceased by his mother, Virginia (Pfeiffer) Keefe and father, Leo Keefe. Dick grew up in Syracuse attending St. John Evangelist School (1958) and graduating from Morrisville (1960). He worked as an engineering designer at GE, General Dynamics and later 27 years at Xerox. He enjoyed family, friends, travel and a long retirement. Friends and family are invited to call 2 – 4pm and 6 – 8pm Friday, March 13th at the Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford St, Wolcott, NY 14590. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am, Saturday, March 14th at Catholic Community of the Blessed Trinity, 11956 Washington St, Wolcott, NY 14590. Interment in St. Thomas Cemetery.
