Wolcott: Passed away on February 28th, age 50 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester with his family at his side. A long time employee at NAPA in Wolcott, Rodney is survived by his mother Lorraine Silliman; step-father George Silliman; sister Lisa Williams; brother-in-law Brian Williams; niece Sarah Eygnor; nephew Dustin Williams; great niece Brooke; special aunt and uncle Ronald and Louise Blauvelt; several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends Jamie, Michael and Lori Wickham. Rodney was predeceased by his father Warren Wood in 1968; maternal grandmother Iona Ward; paternal grandparents Dorothy and George Wood.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday March 9th from 11-2 at the Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford Street in Wolcott, where his funeral will be held following visitation. Interment will be at the Huron Evergreen Cemetery. A reception immediately following will be held at the Wolcott Elks Lodge on West Port Bay Road, Wolcott. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wolcott Ambulance Corps (WAVAC), or to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
